Magpie Children's Counting Book

Finally finished the magpie book. A retelling of a timeless counting rhyme with a twist. For 3-6 year olds. On first read through the book may be a simple counting exercise but on further readings the fun for child and parent is in knowing that the magpie is being very cheeky and is sneakily pilfering all the shiny objects from within the pages in order to line its nest. All is well in the end, the objects being returned to their rightful owners and the magpie having it’s own shiny egg to tend. All designs © Alison Murray 2008.
